So i went in for another round of tuning yesterday...got her dialed in perfect now, the first image is after 3 hours from a complete idiot who wasted my money....upon dissasembly of my bike for a tuneup i learned that the ignition advancer, was not plugged in and also the AIS system was still intact..i think any good tuner should have been able to pick up on that immediately, especially the AIS...
The second is from a dynojet certified tech, same dyno....
The initial Map on the bike was the downloaded full graves system from the website...so this gives you the idea the gains you can make from a custom tune, vs. just going with the generic map.
You can download the fuel map i started with on this page file name: M426-005
I am really happy with the torque gains!
And she purrs like a kitten now from engine idle to accel to decel now... just a few small pops at 5500 on the way down.. the A/F graph is way flatter now, much much nicer.
Heres the Sheets:
This 2007 has full graves, BMC filter, PC3, and ignition module, iridium plugs and full synthetic oil at 6000kms (3750 miles)
Amatuer Tuner after 3 hrs
Pro Tuner after 4 hrs
Now I have to find a more precise Dyno to map the ignition advancer, the tech told me the dynojet dyno wont work well tuning the advancer, and "sweep style" dyno tuning is not the best way for ignition mapping.. you need the dyno to hold the bike at given RPM's and then make the changes and read the HP numbers in real time to see the gains or losses from the changes.
Wierd that dynojet sells a product that thier dyno isnt really set up to handle.
