crap software doesn't work. Firstly ctrl P changes to percent view, I managed to paste with ctr V :-).

Secondly, after I manage to paste in gear 1, link it for all gears and cylinders, go to view anything else and come back, it reverts back to the original values. Even if I save it before moving away.

Maybe I should close the first map window?

? The out lined steps should work. First copy then select the top left column (only one cell) then ctrl+v should paste in the data. Do not select the percent data. Only copy the values. I would also not recommend changing each gear to the 1st gear map, as each gear has different timing curves.

Copying and pasting maps into other images works fine for me, not sure why it does not work for you?

Edit to add: Just tried it, opened two instances of the F-T software, pulled up a stock ECU image, then a 91+ ECU image. Went to the timing maps on both. Did a ctrl+a on the stock image, selected the top left cell in the 91+ image, ctrl+v and had the stock timing in the 91+ image for gear 1. Do that 5 more times, and you would be done.

It works, it lasts only till you are on that screen. Move to gear 2 or anywhere else and then come back to gear 1 and the values input are lost. It goes back to the old values. I'm using ver 1.5.3.0

I do not have that problem what so ever...with the same version. you could try saving the map before you switch views....saving worked fine for me....

I did that too. Maybe a reboot and fresh start of the OS is needed. I'll try that tonight.

Typo

Sorry Indianfighter...

Should be ctrl - V to paste (as corrected)

- my bad.

It does work as instructed - I use it that way.

The link to all cylinder button may only work for fuel maps???
Use ctrl - Q

And you will have to save the map to retain changes.

I'd love to have something profound here!

Ok I got it done finally. Reboot, didn't work. Thsi voodoo trick worked.

Open up target map first, then source map. Change view to tps vs rpm or anything other than btdc or general settings. Change to btdc view on source and target, then go about doing your business. Voila, it works!

Hi all,
Is there a difference in the maps I should download for flashtune for an Aussie bike compared to a US bike ? Got gytr slip ons and danmoto y-pipe.

Is here a fix for losing the immobiliser yet ?
I've got a 2012 R1
Thanks

Get a map made in europe for the octane you use from this thread. There are some aussies here too who have made good maps.

Unfortunately there is no way to retain the immobiliser at this moment.

Send R1evo a PM about a map for a '12. The maps wont be much different from EU to US. You can chat with evo about that.

Some would say that removing the immobilizer is a feature not a bug.... It is user preference. The US bikes don't even have them to start with so...

i just flashed a guys 10 with peens smooth and strong and he lost 5hp from stock, the autotune is -fuel all over the place anywhere frpm -3 to -17, so i reckon a us map won't be ideal. Im now only getting 150-160kms to a tank.

TAD you need to make some room in your email so I can respond to your PM.

Thats odd...What did he have for mods? Y-pipe and slip-ons? Did he do any other changes like gearing at the same time?

I run US spec 93 Octane which is like 97EU octane? So the advanced ignition timing might be too much for the fuel he is using. But in the EU, if you use the good fuel, I would expect it to ok, and not provide the results you listed, which is why I am confused.

were not from the eu tho, were from dirty old nz, i was assuming fuel quality/atmospheric conditions and the angle of the moon are to blame. He also mentioned that they wernt gettibg 100% throttle abive certain rpm with that map, i need to clarify this with him.
