Yes 2012. Runs great! Smoothed out the power all the way through. Actually corrected a flat spot at 5200-5500 rpm. A-mode feels stronger...standard feels the same...slightly smoother.

Only thing...I now have flames that shoot out my exhaust after high revs - 10k plus rpm.

Popping on decel could mean a lean condition, but the ais system causes that too if it hasn't been bypassed.

The AIS system is pure BS! Dumping fresh air into the exhaust to make the emission numbers look better is just that, BS
I`m in the middle of removing the airbox and change the plugs and the AIS is def getting chucked out

Nice. Next time I change my plugs I'm going to do mine as well, I'm not sure FT disabling it works as well. I still get popping on decel, just not as much.

I'm looking to buy the interface in the next couple days. Anyone gracious enough to share a coupon code? EFJ124680 and topsecret are no longer valid.

I would say give F-T a call and see if they will give you a discount over the phone. Try and tell them that you heard good things about it here, and maybe that will work?

Quick question: How do you read the Engine Breaking adjustment on the software? Does the % Seen mean the % being reduced or the % of OEM Engine Breaking remaining?

The % number means howm much it is adjusted with in the range of adjustment. 0% means OEM settings, and 100% the most amount of reduction that the setting can remove.

That being said, if you look back a few pots, it has been documented that in the current release of the software the ETV engine breaking reduction has a small bug and may not lead to changes that are as good as in previous versions. This bug has been reported, and acknowledged by F-T and they are working on a fix.

Fellas, I recently got my ECU flashed and I have some questions.... I don't have time to read through 256 pages!

So I noticed some great gains in the mid range dept and while that is great and all it needs some tuning. Once I release brake pressure and get back in the throttle, it is very abrupt and jerky. That is something I can deal with and not my biggest concern. One of my major gripes is under WOT the bike feels like it is lacking now. Running rich maybe?

Damn near everywhere else is strong but this is my racebike and I need WOT to be improved. I've been bumped to Expert and I need every inch of HP!

Before I had the ECU flashed, I had a custom tune on my PCIII but I don't have the file saved. If I get my bike custom tuned, again, can I take the map and adjust it with the ECU flash?? Integrate both together?

Did you have it flashed, or did you flash it your self or did F-T do it for you? Also what ECU image did they/you use? The ignition and fuel maps really dictate how much power you make, where, and how smooth it is delivered....

anything special to know about the new checkbox option on step 5 for fuel map bias? holding the cursor over it gives info for fan temp. it was defaulted to 'selected' and tps vs rpm. also anything to be concerned with as far as updating my maps with the 'latest gear dependent throttle by wire' settings?

just updated ft today and not real sure what these are for.

That is the load bias setting in the older version it used to be a slider. it is now a drop down box. TPS vs RPM is no 02 sensor. The different percentages are laid out in the faq.
