so to replace just the stock front sprocket with -1 on a stock chain , you need a 16t 530 pitch correct?? '10 r1

2011 R1 stock setup 17t 530 47T
Wondering if a 49T will work with the stock chain lenght?
Im one down now but thinking changing back to stock up front and 2 up in the back might be a little better for the freeway.
Thx in advance.
Cheers

Putting the 17t front back on and a 49 rear will be minimal difference on the highway than the 16t/ stock rear

Ya...I'm fairly happy right now. Would like just a little more topend in 6th for the highway to get the RPM down a little. Besides... I'll have a spare 47t then to throw on my 08.
Just wondering if I'm going to run into chain length problems?
