This is a really good picture. Agreed with getting one of them done in HD and then framed.

No problem the bike is hella nice! Understatement of course. I take it, you are from the bay area since the show you attended was in San Mateo. I'll be back in the bay area for good come the end of next month. It would be nice to get a ride or two with you. When my bike gets home. I'm looking forward to all the good riding and tracks days I can make. Now I'm about to finish reading your article in SSB. Keep up the good work...

Yes, I'm from the Bay Area. As far as track days go, I'm done for the season since its rainy season up here I'll be at Thunderhill next year starting either in April or May Let me know what you think of the article I'm actually competing at the IMS Long Beach show in 2 weeks. It's the 2nd largest show in the U.S. There's well over 175,000 people in attendance

Yea, that's sucks It's by popular votes and most people there don't really know the detailed parts on a bike. It's pretty sad but it is what it is. Both Yamaha and SSB were shocked that I didn't win the Laguna show. I just entered my bike in the IMS show in San Mateo and I took 1st place. All the builders there definitely knew that a lot of money and time went into my R1. It took me 7 1/2 years to complete my build since I'm an amateur builder and don't have my own shop. I'll be at the Long Beach IMS show in 2 weeks to compete. It's the 2nd largest show in the U.S. The largest show in the U.S. is New York but that's too far for me to travel.
Thanks for the compliment! It was definitely an honor to be on the SSB mag November issue

Your bike is awesome, congrats on the feature. The recognition for all the hard work is great.

Well good luck at long beach. Man, I read the article and was impressed with your bike, and it's entire look as I am here on the forum. I was hoping SSB would have ask things like why you chose the R1, what fueled your ispiration, and why they picked you to do the feature. I know the magazine has limits. But it would have been nice to see it in ink. The bike is diffanitly amazing. It would have been good for them to tell more of your story, like losing the ssb contest, but still coming out on top. I know most of us here know of your story. But not the average reader. That would have been cool to add in. But, in any case I still can appreciate seeing your bike in SSB. So thanks for sharing with us here.
