When these superlight steel rear sprockets came out Drive Systems stated they could make theirs so much lighter then everyone else. The big guys in the game have the machines to stress test sprockets and much more and all said that they are not strong enough. Too much material is gone and it's a safety issue. We thought they were bias, but exactly what they said would happen, did happen with several of our customers and we then dropped their entire product line, also due to a variety of other issues. We don't want to carry sprockets that we wouldnt' run on our own bikes or that we are not 100% confident in.

Thanks for all the quick replies fellas!!!! I feel pretty stupid to even post this but i found out last night my bike already has the 16/47 vortex sprockets. I had just bought the bike last week and because the chain was so dirty i never noticed it was gold and the back sprocket was a black vortex so i never clued in until i seen the Vortex stamped on it lol. The owner never mentioned it and to be honest 1st gear feels gutless still unless its high up in the rpms. I just figured this bike would feel like a beast with the conversion but maybe im a little out of whack when it comes to the actual difference.
I was able to cancel my order and after reading some more maybe its for the better that i stayed away from the Drive sprockets. I'm still not in 100% agreement that Drive is weak but if a dealer is dropping the line it definitely raises some red flags.
