Should I buy a full system or 3/4 for my 16 r1?

Morning everyone, this is the first time me posting on the forum so go easy on me lol. I want to know if is worth it to get a full system for my bike i got a 2016 r1 standard version and im looking a the AUSTIN RACING FULL SYSTEM https://www.motomummy.com/austin-rac...xhaust-system/ is it worth it to get it or just the 3/4 i want to get around 180hp and 80tq i be changing also the air filter, 520 chain conversion, smog blockoff, flash the ecu and some other stuff, so would i be able to reach my goal with a 3/4 or i have to buy the full system. Any feedback would be appreciated, once again thanks for reading and have a great day.

With the difference in price compared to the difference in hp... the full system is NOT worth it. You will get over 180 hp with a good ecu flash & 3/4 exhaust.

This...Yamaha and all the other manufactures have really stepped up with the potential of a basically stock bike. Do the 3/4, get the ECU reflashed and don't waste your money.

What the others said. The stock headers are fine (either the ti ones on the standard or M, or the SS ones on the S). They flow pretty damn well. The only reason to really go for a full system is if you're doing a full race build.

Or you happen upon a used one for dirt-cheap.

Is it just me, or is it just not worth shelling out $$$ for a full system if the stock headers (on the standard and M) are titanium already? No weight savings either, so I just don't see it.

Trust unto God and He shall direct your path.

Unless you are wanting to cut down on weight just get a 3/4. He full titanium exhaust systems will save weight, but not enough to justify the price. 3/4 Akra and sbu flash put my buddy around 185whp

not worth it dollar wise for what you get.. but a full system should produce more power than a 3/4.

Personally.. If I were to do the AR exhaust again I would go full system. Those headers look amazing. Just for that I`d buy it... but that`s just me.

I think I might even change again.. Got my eyes open on a factory exhaust system...

With aftermarket headers don't you also run into problems changing the oil filter? I recall some people have to disconnect the headers everytime they do an oil change. PITA for a street rider in my opinion...

Unless you have $ burning a hole in your pocket go 3/4 and flash it.
