From what I recall, the angle on the mid-pipe is different from the '98-99 to the '02-03. At least it was on the Harris slip-on I tried. Might differ by manufacturer. Not sure on the Ohlins either, I'd get a rotary damper, fit for sure then. Someone else will chime in with a more definitive answer...
I cant say for definite for your specifics, but my experience is that the ohlins units can be made to fit across a fair range of years, at most you might require a bracket to be altered or made, but the damper itself can work fine.
Standard headers won't fit bud
If you've aftermarket system it's worth to check a range of models it's been dedicated to.
Ohlins damper will fit with correct fotting kit.If you manage to get Harris kit with 02-03 label on it,it will fit all range from 98-02 as the tank mounting bolt and top yoke mounting are in same distances and places.
