Road rashed my bike for the second time in 3 years and managed to land on the crank case side where the fairing connects to it. She oozed oil like she bled when she fell on me. Called a friend put some oil in it and started it up to ride her home. Thinking about jb welding it until I get a new cover.
Buy the stock cover from an OEM parts website like Rockymountainatv, motorcycle superstore, part shark, etc (just google OEM yamaha parts). Then buy some engine cover protectors like GB Racing, WoodCraft, or Graves.
"Unless it's beneficial", my bad. Not that cheap aluminum or whatever. And I ride in the snow all the time but my luck ran out yesterday. Also plan on rebuilding eventually but I've done some checks with her patches up with some jb weld and she seems to be operating fine. After an oil change ofocurse. Going to have to redo it after I get that new cover though.
Got everything replaced. Put in shit, but now after install the clutch doesn't work. Bike starts but clutch lever and then the spring bar inside housing is grabbed but it doesn't rotate. Need help asap
Got everything back together but now she leaks oil where the clutch lever is. Right out of the bearing and washer where it's at. Any solutions?
