My 2002 has been an ongoing project from day one, original owner, got her in Feb 2002, all the work except for paint has been done by your's truly. Have had thoughts of getting rid of her several times, but will probably never part with her. She's been with me thru good & bad times and still runs & handle's remarkably.
I'm kind of old school and prefer the side exit exhaust vs. the undertail, and she still brings a smile to my face when I look at her & ride her, besides at my age I'll never use it to its full potential. With all thats gone into her so far it would be hard to part with it & start over.

Really nice Ron, :bow I can understand with that much time and money invested that it would be hard to ever get rid of her. Anyway we need to show these young un's we still know what it's all about :flex: :lol
Super ride and great attitude toward your invesment. So many guys on these sites get the newest models just have the latest & greatest and then wind up selling it after a year with 5k in mods. Anything to get that extra 4hp the new model claims as head and shoulders over last years bike. The bike mags are the worst for this and I swear must get money from the bike manufacturers for stirring the pot every year. It is refreshing to see how much work and dedication went into your ride and the reality of enjoying it because most of us will never touch the potential of our bikes.
Really nice looking bike. I know the feeling about getting rid of something you put so much time and money into. I am at that point now with my 05. I did a ton of work and would like to sell her but i can't. I really love to ride even though i don't ride that much. Good looking bike.
Have had thoughts of getting rid of her several times, but will probably never part with her. She's been with me thru good & bad times and still runs & handle's remarkably.
Been following your threads Mark, and can't wait to see the new addition, as with all your projects I'm sure it will be another work of art, especially with a genuine R7 as a starting point :bow
Dynomite in the UK makes it, they also make a vented version of my front fender and a vented rear hugger with the gold mesh. I've dealt with Matt & the guys at Dynomite for over 5yrs and highly recomend them. All their parts are exceptional quality & fit, the Dynomite CF on my bike is 5yrs + and still looks new :bow
It looks awesome Ron. Makes me miss my '03 Liquid Sliver R1.
