2006 R1 "LE" (#296/500)

I am the 2nd owner. The original owner was none other than "Mr. Daytona" (Scott Russell) which I think makes it even more special.

I have a clear Florida title in my possession for an easy transaction.

This is the real LE with full Ohlins suspension, Marchesini forged wheels, factory installed slipper clutch, etc.

I have a cold start video with a walk around for serious buyers.

Currently has 9,431 miles. (Bike is currently in my garage without a tag, on stands, and a battery tender).

Fresh oil/filter change was done within the past 500-750 miles with Motul 300V.
Front and rear brakes have fresh Amsoil brake fluid within last 500-750 miles.
No issues whatsoever with the bike.

Upgrades:

Full Akra titanium system (carbon tips and hangers) with mapped PC5
Ohlins steering damper
Rear Driven sprocket (47T) and Driven sprocket bolts
12 o'clock labs speedo calibrator
Helibar clipons and Renthal grips
Pazzo "shorty" lever set
Dunlop Q3's with less than 1000 miles on them
OEM rear solo cowl
Spiegler front and rear brake lines (black lines w/ gold banjos)
Vortex rearsets (standard shift) and Graves return spring
Graves frame and clutch sliders
Puig dark tint windscreen
Cox radiator guard
Samco radiator hoses
LED (flush) front turn signals
Rear LED tail-light with integrated blinkers
Tidy tail tag bracket

I'm asking $9,500.00 as it sits.

I have all the stock parts, repair manual, and the unused "LE" tool kit that will go with the bike.

What's the story on Scott Russell's use of the bike? Was it just a recreational bike for him? How did you happen to acquire it from him?

This is a special bike without the history of the original owner. I remember reading the magazine articles on these. Very unique. Only 500 were supposedly shipped to the US for about $18k.
This is a great deal @ $9,500.
