Hey guys, post pix of your chicken strips....:rock
Got it. It's 3613.Should be like a 4 digit number somewhere on the side of the tire, like for example, 2414 (24th week of 2014)
A lowering link may very likely compound your problems by flattening the swingarm angle and affect your drive out of the corners. When putting a larger tire on the rear it is often necessary to raise the rear suspension in order to preserve the swingarm angle.Have a question for some of the experts..
This spring had my forks/shock rebuilt, revalved, and resprung by traxxion dynamics.
Also made the jump to a 190/55
On the rear.
Previously had my forks about 5mm above triple clamp. Knowing the 190/55 is taller, I put the forks back at stock height.
The bike seems Iike it has a lift kit now.. Haha measured from ground

It's at 43".
I'm having trouble on track, and well I guess in general with the bike dropping in too fast to point where it's just almost unstable.
I'm assuming this is because of the heigth of the rear. Since I have a stock shock there is no ride height adjustment, if I buy a turnbuckle type lowering link for the rear, and lower it say 1/2" will that improve stability and slow turn in?
Thanks
No kidding. I couldn't believe how much rubber I lost riding in the rain.New chicken strip...man I tell you if it wasn't for contingency I don't think I would be racing :fact :lol
