Hey guys, post pix of your chicken strips....:rock
Fresh new ones from yesterday? View attachment 669154
Need a better picture of the front.Had the suspension done at the track. After the suspension the bike felt the best since I have owned it.
11 R1
Super corsa SC2 rear SC1 front
28 and 32 off the warmers
Big Willow Springs
102 high of the day.
Do these tires look like suspension or need a little more air.
Thanks.

When I was riding street, I changed my pressures to around 32 front, and 30 rear. Made the bike feel better braking before corners, and the lower pressure in the rear gives better grip. I would only go that high if I were riding two up.I'm 200lbs. Running 34r/32f cold.
You want a little slower on the compression, and a little faster on the rebound. Therefore, you'll have fewer clicks out on the compression than the rebound.I've set the suspension a few clicks stiffer than factory for all adjustments. I am sure with my weight I'll need to go stiffer for track riding, but for street use I'm not complaining. I'm getting good feel and the bike stays settled at the current pace.
Some material call it by different names. For example, Penske tuning manual calls them free and rider sag. Personally, I prefer the term "rider" because it means with the rider on the bike. Static is a bit misleading and can be confusing in terminology. Yes, you are "static" with the rider on it. But, IMO, I would think "free" sag (bike weight only) is closer to static sag by definition as the bike is just sitting there. Some basics to help everyone speak the same language:
- preload - should be expressed in the way of millimeters of sag (static and free work best)
Yes, getting old sucks...Yeah, but you for two reasons. Marcelo is still young and gumby. He can bounce back faster. You're going to feel it more the next morning. Or hell, later that day :lol
I'm thinking slow rebound, but can't tell if there is anything else going on there.I need a better shot of that...it doesnt look right
