My Twisty Ride Vids

I got to get some good riding in this year with my buddies. Thought I'd share.

First trip was to Deals Gap. That's my first time there and I really enjoyed the roads. We don't have anything like that in Missouri.

Blood Mountain:

Hwy 28:

The Dragon:

Second trip was to Arkansas. We try to take a long weekend and get down that way a couple times a year. Unfortunately I seemed to pick the wrong roads to turn the gopro on, so I only have a couple halfway decent vids:

Hwy 16:

Hwy 341 - Push Mountain:
(sorry about the booger!)

Enjoy! We'll be needing these motorcycle porn vids once winter sets in!

Yeah that was real fun, wish we didn't have to get stuck behind a cop for part of it as that was the only time we got to make a run down that road.

There is a road in Arkansas that we hit thats similar, of course I didn't have the gopro on again, but it's the first section of 14 that's between 341 and 5. It's a lot shorter but still just of fun.

Always great to find those awesome roads!

Never understood how people that ride like that on the street, doing double the speed limits in traffic, passing cars in turns in double yellows have the balls to bitch about people stunt riding on the street. lol I'm gonna post some videos of me riding standups for miles down the highway in the carpool lane and see how they are taken on here.

While we do pass on double yellows, it's never in a turn... That being said I think a lot of the reason why there is a difference between how people feel about stunt riders, verses back road riders is the mentality in general those two groups have about what they do.

Stunt riders typically have the mentality of FTP, don't wear gear and like you said do what they do on the highway with cars all around. So obviously you just don't care about the impact you have on those around you.

I don't know anybody that gets their knee down without the propper gear. We wait for straights to pass vehicles and I always make sure to wave at those I pass as a thank you for letting me pass and not running me off the road. lol While we do go fast and it is dangerous, we just do it in a more courteous manner.

That is why stunting on the streets is frowned upon and quickly paced backroad riding is awesome!

And I think that is total bullshit, just by watching those guys in your videos I can tell they are total novice riders and most likely never ride on the track. Those are the dangerous riders that suprise motorists and get you and others killed by their unskilled actions. That's my opinion from watching those videos, and honestly I don't know anyone out here that races CCS or WERA that even atempts to ride like that unless on a closed course and these guys actually know how to ride. Here's some experienced backroad riders riding Mulholland, notice their body positioning, the lines they take and how they use their knees as feeler guages not kickstands in the turns.

You crack me up dude, I just think it's funny that a stunna would tell a back road rider that they have bad body position... This isn't motogp dude, none of us are racing here. But yes we all do track days, some of us race too. Guess you didn't notice the avitar. And not that you'd know, but riding back roads at 75% verses doing a trackday at 100% is quite different. Stick to what you know bro.
