Vinyl wrap for motorcycles...

Hello,
I know this has already been talked about but I couldn't find the thread for it. I was just curious if anyone knows the best company to buy vinyl wrap from? Does anyone know a good company with decent color selections? I am looking to wrap my R1 and I want to use a good product that is going to last.

If anyone has any good experiences with a certain product, can you give me some info? Thanks!

The one I'm using is made by "Orajet", and is called "Rapid Air".
I'll have pics posted up in the next day or two.

Sounds good. Thanks. I have tried to find them on eBay but no luck. Do they have a special website?

Nice looking bike. Did you wrap the whole bike or just the carbon parts? I am not sure what colors are available and that's what I want to find out.

I used Track Wraps on my R1 track hack......I did the belly pan, front and rear fender in vinyl carbon fiber, with number plates on the tail and front fender in white. Great stuff, easy to work with once you got the hang of it.

Track Wraps? I will have to look into that. I have heard of a few different companies but I am not sure who I am going to go with just yet. You say the Track Wrap is easy to work with once you get the hang of it. Does it rip or tear easily? How easy is it to heat and stretch over areas like the tank?

For whatever reason, I can't ping the Trackwraps website but with the storm....who knows. I think that they're still around (big over on NESBA).

The stuff is pretty stretchy, and you can do some pretty complicated compound curves with some heat and patience. Prep is KEY, but if the prep is good, the stuff sticks. Mine's been on the bike for 18months and there are no areas pulling away or popping up.

99.9% of my time is spent sitting up. I think it looks pretty slick and might do it to mine too. Even when I'm tucked, I can't get low enough to see through the wind screen and I have a DB. Some people use it, some don't.

My screen is smoked, you can't see shit, visibilty isnt my point...but when you see dynoc you can tell. I'm not speaking of functionality, it just looks cheesey. JMO do what you like.
