Yeh his still has the CAT. Both are on stock tunes.
I was gonna muck around with my CO settings (currently sitting at C1=8, C4=7, C3=9, C2=8)
but being a club day there was to many bikes to go on and off..
Mine will be getting its 40,000k overhaul soon (valves, sparks, air filter etc) then we are going to chuck it on and see if we can get it running a bit better.
those co settings are at idle if my memory is right. big discussion on the R6messagenet a long time ago about all of those settings. I messed around with mine on my R6 and it didn't change anything power wise.
buy a power commander if you want to adjust fuel maps.
So little update on these two bikes.
Both have since been back to run again on the dyno and have the CO settings adjusted in DIAG mode on the dash..
No Power Commander, no flashes just adjustment of the CO settings.. Here are the results..
Don't have a graph of the 05 but after adjustments but it had massive improvements and finished around the 150rwhp mark and
actually had gains of over 15rwhp at certain points..
First picture is my 04 before and after CO adjustment.
Second pic is my 04 run after CO adjustment and My R1M which is completely stock as from factory.
