i picked up a set of T-drives for my 2012, and im having an issue with the TC disc interfering with the bolt where the buttons would be. my question is if i turn the rotors around will that effect any performance,
I personally wouldn't do that, both sides of the rotors are different. The red Brembo Logo should be facing the outside, meaning it should be visible, also notice the T buttons are structurally different when compared to each other. Check these pics out:

The outside (red Brembo logo):
PS. Most rotors have a direction arrow indicating the prescribed direction of travel
That's what I was going to suggest. Probably don't need to remove much. I just find it strange that the rotor is made for the bike and it has these fitment issues.
Edit: Something with his rotor looks different than yours?
