Asked if he was afraid of dying in an accident, Marco Simoncelli responded: "No. You live more for five minutes going fast on a bike like that, than other people do in all of their life." rip #58 ciao ciao bello

It's called hubris. Those rich spoiled bastards have the typical rascist xenophobic mentalities until it boomerangs back on them.

This song came out in 2004 when he wrote it after a Korean missionary was kidnapped and beheaded in Iraq. Apparently all Koreans were pissed because the US led the invasion in to Iraq and the Koreans were also sending troops....so this song was a "protest" for the killing of the missionary(which the Koreans blamed the Americans for) and the involvement of Korean forces in Iraq.

And yeah, the ROK Army are some serious fighters.

They only let the crazy ones out of the country. Most of the "regulars" follow the French used rifle ad. Rife for sale, never fired, dropped once.

all my cousins have nothing but horror stories. They got beaten up so much by their sergeants, the only fear was that the North Koreans were going to be worse.

Just saw this.....Read Franks post for the skinny on why the Koreans were mad. It was obviously misplaced anger.
