I thought I would start a thread on places that are offering carbon fiber bits for out 2015+ R1's. Please post a link to the web-site and your feedback of quality/fitment ect.
Thanks,

Not shown on the website yet(but can be found on E-Bay) for '15 but are offering a chain guard, rear hugger, and front fender(same as previous years). They told me that their carbon is a plain weave and offered in gloss or matte finish.
These guys have a bunch of stuff for our bikes.. fenders, swingarm covers, frame covers, etc. Motogp quality stuff and stuff needs to be ordered through mail... If I haven´t bought my lightech lever guard I would have gotten theirs. More pics of the carbón stuff for our bikes are found on their instagram.
I've been waiting for CleverWolf Racing to make a tank pad, but that's still not available. However, they have a CF hugger and CF engine covers: CWR 2015 R1 or buy from here CWR @ Webike
I also contacted Geelong Carbon Craft about a tank pad for the '15. They recently had a tank to make a mold and have some made, but not yet available on their website. Below are some pics they sent - small tank pad, large tank pad, and full tank pad. The full tank pad covers up to where the airbox cover ends.
Currently waiting on a reply to purchase a small tank pad in twill weave. First seen a GCC tank pad on another member's R1 and ended up buying one for my D675.
yeah, ive contacted them..looks good eh..still waiting for their respond on the pricing..the CWR also looks good but the pricing is way overboard after conversion to my currency.. A whopping SGD2k+.. roughly around USD1500..
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I believe I found my hook-up as they have the best looking carbon I have ever laid my eyes on. Let me add 1Carbontech to the list of resources, absolutely flawless and nothing short of perfection.
I had a 1CarbonTech CF front fender on my 09 R1 and the quality was excellent. I maybe had two gripes with it but overall 1CarbonTech was the best CF I had compared to the other aftermarket CF bits I had on my 09. The front fender wasn't one solid sheet of CF and the sections were obvious it wasn't one piece. The other gripe was the sharpie outlines where there were cutouts. The outlines came off easily so it wasn't a big deal. Fit and finish was excellent and I'd buy their products again.
100% CF with 1CarbonTech... quality, fit, and finish is excellent.
I don't have any plans to put CF on my bike other than the GCC CF tank pad that is on the way, but that could always change. Once you get bit by the CF bug, it's hard to stop. lol.

yeah they have nice parts..price is slightly more than GCC..anyways GCC also do twill weave for extra AUD20...quite fair price they quoted me..if i order stuffs from the states i guess my wallet will be thin throughout..lol..both is fine anyway..its just what you prefer and willing to pay..still waiting for other companies to post their stuffs..
I ordered a rear hugger from moto composites. I'll post pics when it comes in. My plan is to do the front fender and possibly the windscreen fairing. I took a direct shot by a stone already into that fairing it looks now like a permanent bug splat. That will make for a number kit for trackdays!
Hey guys! I am loving what yall are finding for our bikes, how do I subscribe to this shit so i don't miss anything?????? I've been looking for the button subscribe to do it but just cant seem to find it, even did a page word search but there was nothing.
For all you guys who are looking for Carbon Fiber pars for the 2015 Yamaha R1...this is the place to check out : http://www.motocomposites.com...They pretty much have every single part in Carbon...
I ordered the rear hugger to check out their parts before ordering too many pieces. That was on 7/29 and it still has not shipped. The last email said once it ships they will send me tracking info. So keep in mind unless you call you have no way of knowing if its available stock or made to order.
Just thought will upload a few pics of my bike with a few CF bits and pieces...
Ordered all of them through EBAY. 1CARBON TECH on ebay provided all the CF parts except for the swing arm CF protectors... those were bought off ebay from jap4performance.
The products from both both vendors are top quality as far as I am concerned. Also bought the Gas tank cover [ air box cover] from 1CARBONTECH. Finish was perfect and it did fit well... Personally thought after the installation the OE paint job on the tank cover looks top notch in comparison to the CF. Hence removed it.
IMO the only choice for carbon for this bike is FullSix carbon fiber parts. These guys make THE BEST carbon parts out there. I have seen hundreds of brands and samples from all over the world and nothing even comes close to there quality, fit and finish.
I'm looking forward to seeing what they make for the R1, so far its the smaller bits (and for me those are the ones I would change) but there are plans to make full replacement fairings....I may just have to get a set of those too
Has anyone gotten the Matte twill parts from motocomposits they could put pictures up of? I'm going between gloss and matte still, but haven't seen anything in matte in person. I have bought from them before on my last bike and loved the quality and fit
Guys so sorry I saw the motocomposites rear fender and chain guard but didn't take pictures at the shop since I was overwhelmed with Labor Day hangoverness...but it looks very nice. The shop said they had to fiddle with stock rear fender spacers to get it to not flop around though.
You paid a shop to install 2 pieces of carbon fiber? The stock hugger unless you got a defective one doesnt require fiddling with spacers? Mine was a 30 second install, fit just like stock, no flopping around.
A few pics(sorry about the crappy pic quality, HTC One camera SUCKS!!) of my carbon bits so far. They are all sourced from 1Carbontech and the fit and finish is spot on! Couldn't be happier and I would recommend anyone looking for quality carbon to definitely consider them.
like the ecu cover.. I´ve been pondering on getting some pieces in carbon... but then I think I could use that money on more go fast parts and never end up buying them.
Anyone out there aware of who might make make a copy of the R1M rear solo seat cover with the GPS antenna indent in it?
