Are there any maps out there that can be sent wireless through CCU to bike? Did Yamaha make this to make changes to the maps without having to bring the bike to a dealership? I keep reading Communication Control Unit with wireless remapping on all the specs for the R1M and R1's that add the ccu But can't find any info on the wireless remapping part........

The CCU does two things:

One of those is read or modify the bikes electronic setting.
You can read the bikes current setting or change the YRC setting on the app and send to your M via the WiFi.
*Things can be modify: YRC-MODE(actually I would like to call it profile), PWR, TCS, SCS, LCS, QSS, LIF & ERS setting.

The other thing is the CCU will data logged the bike when you turn the key on, after riding you can download all logs to your app via WiFi(on iOS device this only support iPad, the app is not supported iPhone).
The app will show most of the things you or the bike did like TPS, wheels speed, brakes, lean angle... etc. also it got a small map showing where you were when riding(the M got a GPS unit on the back, replaced with the passenger's seat).

This is a video to show what the data logger does:

This pdf is from Yamaha:

Hope this help.
