Which exhaust did you choose? (Pics please)

Hi!

I finally got my bike, so I'm looking and reading about exhausts

So... which one did you choose? (Can you post a pic or link please?)

I really like the Titanium Akra, and my idea y to buy just a Slipon until I decide if I go with the re flash or a PCV

Hindle 3/4 System and Flash. Do it once and the first time.

Thanks for your post & pic

Just out of curiosity, why did you choose the flash and not the PCV?

I did the Graves with the FTECU flash. I'm really happy with the quality, performance and the complete package they offer. I just added the FTECU Active tune recently and truly complemented the setup

PCV only lets you do so much. Flashing the bike opens it up even more in terms of tune-ability and riding characteristics.

Will have mine reflashed very soon....

I have an Arrow Ti silencer with carbon end cap that comes with 3/4 Y-Pipe stainless decat.
Also Installed a BMC airfilter and HEL trackPro HH+ front brake pads with Motul's RBF600 race brake fluid...

Just did a trackday yesterday and bike run beautifully as expected!! Brakes were brickwall strong with no signs of fade.
Soundtrack and handling is riding Nirvana...

Ordered +2 rear sprocket and will do away the slippery stock OEM RS10's it came with and replace them with Pirelli SC2 supercorsa diablo tires in 200.55/17 for a higher profile and better turn in...

A reflashing job is high on my "to do list"

huh.. So an extra 10hp at peak rpm is what can be expected from $3K for an exhaust w/tune (comparable to CF Wheels)? Granted the curve is a nicer for street but that's not even close to 10% gain. Credit to Yam OEM I guess Smart money would go with the cheapest no-cat exhaust option on ebay and a tune.

Having said that, I just picked up an 08 with a Yosh (no cat/gutted exup) and I imagine no tune - she's a little until 9K-ish. So I will be on a dyno doing the flash as soon as I feel like braving the temp.

Cheers!

Can you post a video of the bike passing by, so we can hear the AR?

I got it flashed with a map from Graves.
Don't have a passing by video, just one of sitting idle, but the phone mic doesn't really do it justice.

I went with the MJS Ti Mid Pipe as it allows the stock shield to be used and the A&R Baffle kit, looks stock, doesn't act that way. Waiting on my ecu to return to I can run it.

Trying to add pic but the forum is being cranky

As everyone else has mentioned imo a flash is the way to go, ftecu you can do so much with the bike the pc can't do and the cost was about the same. For me when I bought the bike the pc kept failing during the summer heat in AZ so I forced the dealer to get me a ftecu so I've had both. My bike came with a two bros. I liked my two bros on my 04 zx6rr but I really like(going to get some heat) toce exhaust. I really could care less for every ounce of power, i like the look of the toce and the sound is amazing on the crossplane engine imo. Here is what my two bros looks like and btw it's decated Click image for larger version
