2 ways potentially:
1) if it is an air bubble, use a sharp sringe needle sideways like on a blister.
2) if it is the adhesive bunching up, remove it, rub and clean the adhesive off and cut a new adhesive sheet. 3m model that I use attached in pic. Hope this helps.
I didn't heat it up before application, it was warm but not "heated". I think it's quite strange behaviour, isn't it possible to make an adhesive that looks clear even if it's applied in normal temperature? Or at least a warning text should say "Never apply Stomp Grips without heating first!".
It is not fingerprints, I think it's the adhesive that gets bunched up in some way when removing the protective paper.
I'll try to heat it up with a hair dryer or even a heating gun now when it's installed and see how it reacts.
I did clear on my bike as well. Gotta wear gloves or you will get finger prints..no good..also the bubbles..not only that the heat of my bike made it slide when i was riding. I removed it and im gonna try tech spec black..
I wear gloves, used blower etc. but you will probably have the same result.
I can live with the result but i think it is is better to use black tech product.
