For a less expensive solution, you might investigate the Formula1Compostites stuff that PJ and I picked up. I am happy with them so far....

I keep doing at least one thing to my bike weekly to keep myself sane. We'll see what happens first....... I go broke or riding season starts up again.

Chris, have you had the opportunity to run both the long and short courses yet? I'm curious what everybody thinks of them compared to eachother the long course looks fun, but almost like its just a bunch of straightaway added. Then again, compare it to Road America
Couldn't find the record for BIR full course but I found this in AMA archives. The last sbk race there was in 2004 and it was on full course (3.1 mi.) as comp course wasn't added intil 2009. Josh Hayes beat Matt Mladin in practice.

This is what they looked like after I slathered some paint on them.
TAD158's 09 Raven Build Thread

There have been a few guys that crash tested them on a few other forums, i think a Kawi guy and a Honda guy, and they both said that they held up well enough.

They are certainly not real high dollar stuff, but serve as a good insurance policy against blowing off the OEM plastics at least.
