MotoGP News - MotoGP Valencia: Rossi: Stupid to forget Lorenzo, Ducati for 2017 title

No.

Seriously, I don't think he's going to come out and just light the track up, but there's no way he won't be competitive. He's a damned good rider when all the conditions are near-perfect. The bike they've got now is a goddamned missile, which TBH won't suit Jorge's style, but maybe they can adapt one or the other (the bike or his style)

It's all a matter of how Ducati will cope with no winglets, IMO.

JLo and everyone at Duc will need to thank Rossi for telling them they needed to get their chit together and start making changes to that bike!!

I do believe JLo will be a threat right from the start. Especially if Yam, Suz, Hon, don't get their power up to par with the Ducs.

It's going to be hard to overcome a HP disadvantage like that.

Hopefully, we can discuss the 2017 season without the personal attacks and Name calling...

People in glass houses...

Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised Lorenzo is adapting to the Ducati well. I've posted on here many times I'm a big Lorenzo fan. Not of his attitude at times, but of his riding. His wet weather performance the last rain round made me gain some respect back for him as well. A Lorenzo that can perform in the wet, is just as dangerous as a Marquez that can keep it on 2 wheels.

Him adapting to the Ducati is a sign of a true champion as well. On paper, him and that Ducati should not gel right off the hop. The Ducati is a point and shoot kind of bike, to which Lorenzo is the opposite with his crazy corner speed (which is why his wet weather riding suffers). But obviously Gigi is the genius many think he is, because he's already making that bike work for Jorge.

I can't wait to see Honda off the podium in some races next year. :)
