trackdays at thunderhill and spokane

So me and a few buddies are taking a couple weeks off of work and do a nice little road trip down to Cali.

On the way to thunderhill, we are going to do a track day on Oct.16 in spokane. We would stay another day and do spokane again on the 17th, but we have to be at thunderhill for trackdays on oct18,19,20.

after that we have a little extra time to go out and check out the scenery. So I was just wondering if there were any more track days at a different track that's pretty close by that we should check out also. Also, is there any recommendations for places to stay and places to eat while we're out there, plus any nice little nightclubs we should visit?

Also, just wondering if any of the members on this website are planning on doing any track days at any of those sites cuz it would be pretty cool to meet some fellow members out there.

Anyways, I'll check back to see what's going on, we still have lots of time to plan and organize our trip.

I haven't really been on a "real" holiday for about 8 years, so I'm really stoked right now and counting down the days until I'm gone.

Thanks in advance

the last track day that we are attending is on the 18th which is wednesday and we don't plan on coming back to the great white north until the weekend probably sunday so we got lots of time until we hit the 18 hour drive back home.

Also, I have some family that lives in LA and san diego that I wouldn't mind seeing, so I'm just wondering how long of a drive it would be to get there from sacramento?

There is a 2-fast track day on October 13th at Pacific Raceway which is about 1/2 hour from Seattle that I will be going to weather permitting. There is also an adrenaline freaks track day on October 8th at Pacific Raceway. Not sure if any of those would fit in to your plans.

for more info.

From Sacramento to LA, it'll take you about 5-7 hours depending on how many breaks / stops you make. It's just a bit less than 400 miles.

Anyhow, enjoy Thunderhill, it's a great track - two nice straightaways and turn 4 to 5 is awesome :D

Hey, no problem. Have fun in Spokane. The front straight is about 9/10ths of a mile long so you should see redline in 6th gear! Just make sure to slow down in time for turn 1! :scared

Check out http://www.wolfcentral.net/track/ for California trackdays. It's pretty comprehensive for California.

I'll be at Thunderhill on 11/19-20. I'll be on a red/white TZ250.
