Might not be as bad as you think. Shinya pulled a podium on the Kwak this season, I don't believe Bayliss came even close to one on the Ducati. Capirossi just managed to get his first podium of the season last race.

Bayliss on a Kawi, I don't think that makes Kawi a contender for 2005. Oh well we shall see:riding

...hmmmm. Nothing seen yet on my motoGP rumor sources. Not a bad move as Bayliss has the skill to help develop the Kawasaki program. I am comfortable to wait as I believe he is likely to go to Suzuki, or WSB.

Folks crashed in other races also but Bayliss this season did not perform well and never got close to the podium. The bike probably plays a big role in this, it seems he never got quite comfortable with the 04 version of the Ducati. If indeed he is going to Kawasaki I think he will help their team and improve on a package that is already way better than it was a year ago and dare I say not that far behind the Ducati or Suzuki anymore. Who is leaving Kawasaki to make place for him though? Are they running a 3 bikes team next year? Will he race on the Bridgestones instead of his Michelins? Who is going to take his place in the factory Ducati squad? - Checa, Hopkins(also rumored to Yamaha) or maybe Ruben. I guess the only certainty is that somebody will take his place.

Sorry champ, but its already been announced that he wont be riding for Ducati next year:no

Nitro-although Bayliss obviously struggled this year on the Duc,even after testing he'd said how dissapointed & uncomfortable he was on the new model.
