I've noticed that most places charge you right away. Wouldn't it be better business to charge someone's card after the product is shipped, or when it's getting ready to be shipped? Just doesn't seem fair. I feel COD's are the way to go since retailers usually speed things up a bit if they have to wait on your payment, as opposed to you paying then waiting for the part.

Well you have to remember that a lot of places don't stock the items and simply act as the middle man... You pay A, A orders from B, B send to A, A sends to you. Now if they didn't charge you at the very start they would have to fork out the $.
Can't say I agree, but I'm sure this is how it happens.

Hi,
I like to shop at bigger places. Like mawonline.com, they only charge you when they know the item is in stock and ready to ship. Your order is automatically cancelled if the product is still backorder after 60 days. They have 3 warehouses in the U.S.(CO, NV, and NY) so it gets to you pretty quick. Check them out, their prices is very good too.
