Good ride this weekend, lets do it again soon. I thought I would start a new thread though, as the title of the last thread didnt make sense after the second day up when we decided to ride on the 24th! Hope Shawn is okay, he didnt seem hurt, but those plastics are going to cost him. Shawn, how did the sliders work? Did they save anything? Ryan

Definitely a good time, and will definitely do it again. Thanks to all for makin' the new guy in town feel welcome. It was a little different from what I'm used to..., back home, most folks ride 600's, with a few liters thrown in there. Just the opposite yesterday..., I hope my little R6 didn't hold anyone up too bad! A few folks from Indy were talking of riding during the week..., it's another beauty today! Details: "Sunday, Oct 31st, we are going to visit some of Indiana's real haunted places to tell some tales, and try to connect them with some decent roads. The places high on my list to visit in no particular order are: The Hanna House-Once a stop on the underground railroad, this stately mansion on the south side of Indy is notorious for strange sounds coming from the basement, odd happenings throughout the house, and the ever present stench of death eminating from an upstairs bedroom. Central State Hospital-This was the first mental hospital in Indiana, founded in the 1860's just west of downtown Indy and not too far from my shop. It seems Central State has been troubled from the get go. I get the willys just driving by. The Matthews Mansion in Elletsville-Lights seen upstairs, children heard late at night, tales of the original builder's son entombed in a wall....what more could you ask for? The Story Inn-The Blue Lady, rumored to be the wife of the guy who opened the Inn way back when. The guestbook is full of stories from guests who have met the Blue Lady during their stay at the Inn. Feel free to let me know of any other places you all might want to go on this ride. We will probably meet at the Starbucks on 31 S, about a mile south of 465 on the south side of Indy at 10:00. I'm thinking we'll hit the Hanna House and Central State, then take a nice snakey route down to Elletsville, then over to Story. We won't be able to go into some of the places, but I'll still have some good stories that'll have you looking over your shoulders going "what was that" regardless. We'll try to get some of the folk at the Inn to share some first hand stories. Mileage should be around 200mi, and we should be back well before dark so you can all take care of your own little ghosts and goblins."

yeah, great ride guys. let me know when you're going again. i can make it on most weekends, although; i do hate the cold and i'm quite likly to cry like a bitch if i get just a little chilly. i got Nichole on film doing a Jusus. watch out for her with a bigger bike next year guys. she's going to shoot some egos down in flames. she handled that 500 like a champ. did anyone get me on film doing the wheelie head on at the car? my cam was turned off. Ryan, check e-bay for the pants. sometimes you can find dealers on there with close outs. if you see it's a dealer and just not your size, try e-mailing them or calling them. i've gotten a lot of stuff on there for pretty cheap like that. i just ordered a brand new power commander 3USB for only 220 by doing the same thing. try that or parts411.com has really good prices on a lot of things. never checked the cloths though. everybody keep in touch if we don't ride again this year and we'll all hook up next spring. mike

Yup, already started looking around for a new side and tail. Looks like the new exhaust is going to have to wait awhile longer. Didnt have sliders on - but dont think they would have helped much.

The stock is doing ok - I was looking to buy a new exhaust this winter, but it looks like the money is going to go elsewhere first. Thanks though. If you have a spare tail section laying around - we might be able to strike a deal.

sounds like a plan. i may meet you guys there. i had just about lost the crush on Suzukigirl from last sunday until i got back on here. i may pass you guys up to meet her though. but anyway SGirl, yeah, you had the fingers in the air when you stood up. but i had just pasted a truck and zoomed up on you pretty quick from behind with the cam, and just as you threw the figers in the air i got too close with the cam and it cut you off from the shoulders on up. sorry. i guess you'll have to do it again. you got lucky though. the battery crapped out right after you sat back down. give me a little bit and you'll be holding the camra for me. i'll get it in time. like i said though. if i crash and burn, it's on your hands.

Hey guys, the only way I get a pass is if my wife comes too...but we sold her lid when we sold her bike a couple years ago and she doesnt have one. Does anyone have a spare medium lid that I can borrow? Or has anyone seen some crazy deals on helmets lately (being the end of the season). Not looking for anything too expensive (Suomy, Arai, Shoei), but no crap either (to buy that is). If someone has anything that is clean, that would be great if we could borrow for the ride, so I dont have to make a hurried buy and get something we dont like. Thanks and looking forward to Sunday. Naaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I’m sure nobody has the hots for a fella with a mohawk. All the piercings tend to be a draw back too. Well two of them have some serious functionality, but the rest just scare people off. Once past that, you have to contend with the tattoos from my ankle to my shoulders. Damn the rain..... was a nice night to ride... until i got rained out:bs Yoderbike (and anyone else that cares, or knows him)... one of my buddies, lil ryan, crashed tonight doing the jesus on his 929. Tip # 1... if it is WINDY AS HELL (as it was tonight), don't even attempt it... duh! What was he thinking... i was about to be blown away all night.... He's ok though, might have messed up his shoulder, i'm not sure how bad it is, but i talked to him and he was doing fine, getting ready to go to the hospital... bike is screwed i think... he pretty much flew off the bike and it kept going straight... until somehow it decided to turn right before hitting a car and hit the curb instead (they said it flew into the air after hitting the curb)... so, he's prob done for the season, but ok. Anyways... i'm going to start working on my bike in the morning, i'll let you know asap whats going on. looks like the f2 is pretty much out of the picture... my bud couldnt get the part for his blackbird, so i think thats pretty much a no. but ill let you know asap.... if u dont hear from me, and it gets late, my # is 3172947905, so just give me a call... shit, call me anyways, i dont care...lol

Yama, currently paying tuition, and know what its like. However, its not as far as last weekend and might be one of the last weekends to ride for awhile. Take 65 S all the way down to the west st. exit inside Indianapolis. Continue south on west till you hit New York St. (one way east). Take a left on New York over to Meridian St. and go right (south) about a mile...bingo, your at the circle. From Lafayette, its only about an hour. Hope to see you there.

I"m free this week...all week...like the last week I'm free during the days; if its nice out, and someone wants to ride, hit me up, I'll be out for sure.

yeah, it sucked. i could have found better things to do for sure. but at least i got to deal with the cops from the comfort of my garage. he was really cool about it though. not cool enough to just turn around and leave. but at least nice. i think i can get out of two of them though. so it may not be too bad. hope y'alls ride went well. wish i'd have made it now. but i got some well needed drinking out of the way last night and a ton of stuff done today. got a power commander put on the bike today too. WOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO:fire !!! i'll be able to pull it up in third now. just what i need, i know. but i'm thrilled with the though. see y'all next time i hope.
