Highway 28 , Bryson City area

I read over at cycleforums that next year they will start construction on widening a stretch of 28 near Bryson City , I think the area that includes Bridel Falls between 74 and Franklin . I hope this info is somehow incorrect . I am definetly going to ride that area next time up there !!

Crap!!! That ain't no good if that is correct. We definately will have to ride that road alot next time before they destroy it.

I need to get up there and try out my new BST Wheels before they change that road . These wheels are supposed to help with " turn in ". They should help me to " turn in " to the gas station for a RedBull.:riding :dunno :dollar

I like red bull myself . Carbon fiber wheels , that will complete your R6 wont it !?:fork

I hope that information is all wrong, thats how I ride up there to the gap. I get on 28 just west of Greenville and take it all the way up to the gap, I love that section of road....

Almost done modifying. I am looking for a carbon fiber fuel tank for this 01r6 , but so far havnt found one. I figure if I can loose about 8lbs on the tank , I will be able to carry a case of redbull in my tank bag without adverse handeling affects.

You guys have got to go to Hot Springs with me and hit some really nice roads. There are places over there that make 28 look like an Interstate. Not to mention hot tubs down by the river when you get through twistin it up.

It will be after the first of the year before I can make it up to the gap . Almost finished painting the house , and its time to go through the bike and adjust the valves etc. I am looking forward to some good rides in the mountains in the near future. :riding
