Question for the guys rolling the long wheelies. Do you have to do any mods to the engine so that the oil pump doesn't starve?

I've heard that long wheelies can destroy an engine because the oil pump starves for oil when the bike is in its wheelie position. Is this true?

I guess it all depends on the location of the pickup tube.
If anyone has a service manual they can look it up.

...no mods necessary...just keep the oil level up, ride the wheelies & don't worry about it.
