I am confused !!!!!!!  Pilot ""powers""" or Pilot """Sports"".......Street use only, Y2K, Blue...don't the blue's handle different than the red's or black's. :p
I keep confusing them..and con***ious say "when in doubt 'you know what they say...' " and then he died.
so I guess by the proverbial "they" he meant the R-1 group

Hi all, im looking at tyres at the mo and wondering about pilot powers, im riding on dunlops d218f which are oem on the 04r1 in newzealand mine are now well shagged after 4000kms
So how about the Michelin Pilot powers any one had a good run with them???
Ive been riding on Pirelli SuperCorsas on my old R6 but the R1 will just eat those on the road so lookin to save a bit of dosh.....

i'm on the d218's also and they are smoked as well at about 2800 mi. i have talked to one guy that had the powers and he said they grip superb and last longer than anyother street tire he has tried. he has them on his 03 r1. i think i am going to try them for sure. price not too bad on them either. cheers.:beer

My friend Andy test for Micheline car and Motorcycle... He has been on them for well over a year+. He says they are the best product they have ever put out. He is biased because he is on the payroll, but says the Powers are as I said, the best they have made.

I replaced my Dunlops with Powers on my 04. Incredible street performance. Stick like glue and turn in VERY easy! World of difference from the 218s.

Thanks Guys, the rear D218 seems to be backing me into just about every sharp corner now so its time to bite the bullet, Ive ordered up the "POWERS" and will fit them next week.
Ive heard from other people that they grip well and last good too my only hope is that they give as much feedback as the SuperCorsa..... still you get what you pay for.
For any one interested ill report back on the Powers in a couple of weeks time if the weather holds up im hoping to get a trackday in as well.
Cheers for ya help.
