I'm taking delivery of an '05 in Raven and thinking about Motovation sliders.
Does anyone have any comments on them?
Thanks.

Thanks. Kungfugripsta 02-17-2005, 07:16 PM Just bought a set of Shoguns... installed easy and seem to be pretty nice trickykid 03-08-2005, 09:14 PM I'm curious about a good pair of swingarm sliders. I'm looking for a brand that has good clearance so I don't nic my swingarm when I'm using a rear stand. Anyone have a brand to reccomend. nicka 03-16-2005, 09:26 AM Just received frame & clutch sliders and bar ends from Motovation two days ago...haven't put them on yet, but looked everything over carefully when it arrived. My initial verdict: looks like high quality stuff. Will be installing everything this weekend; hope it all goes smoothly.
- Nick Nickkc 03-16-2005, 09:40 AM I have them on my 04. They are high quality. Seem a bit higher quality than the Graves on my roommate's '03. Def recommend. 2fasst 03-18-2005, 02:27 PM If you like big sliders, Motovations are the way to go. They're much beefier than anything on the market. I emailed them and they were very prompt in follw up and recommended me to a US distributor... I can't recall who they were but I opted for R&G anyways. Their product looks good 2fasst 03-18-2005, 03:41 PM Originally posted by xdonniedarkox

I believe their distributor is AF1 Racing, somewhere in Texas I believe. martinc 03-18-2005, 03:50 PM They are pretty ordinary and the same as inturace (besides the flimsy stickers on them)...and the inturace come with a titanium nut to go on the swingarm...motovation is pure evil steel. hotlava 05-19-2005, 10:46 AM Just installed a set on my 05 and have to admit they stick out from the frame at least 3". They are big sliders and almost looks a bit funny sticking out so much. Quality seems pretty good cept for the flimsy motovation sticker they put on the outside edge of the sliders.
Overall, they seem pretty sturdy. Can't say they are significantly better than any other decent slider out there. | |
