The payment for the track day will include event tickets for the entire weekend and access to all the R1-forum.com / R1-forum.com activities. It's a rare oppurtunity that anyone will have The sponsors above helping with setup, maintenance and technique like that sponsors we've assembled. BIG THANKS to Chuck Graves for setting up and organizing things If there's enough interest we'll have a Drag Strip Day on Tuesday and there's a Stunt Show being planned as well.....

I can’t wait all this working on the team race bikes, making parts, and doing PR has taken up all my riding time. This is going to be cool! My entire company and race team will be in attendance. They are all very excited! Most of them have R1s or R6s and will participate in the riding. This should be the best track day ever with all the companies that are involved. I have a Superbike / streetbike that I have wanted to ride on the track, this will be the perfect time. Aaron Gobert and Jason Disalvo are going to hang out on Monday and ride. Josh Herrin who many do not know will be there riding (Josh is a 15 year old future star that we are sponsoring this year) He is coming out from Atlanta for the event with his R6. If anyone has any?s or special needs, just let us know and will try to accommodate you. (Hotel info, bike set up, or anything else) E-mail us @ sales@gravesport.com please leave day time phone # where you can be reached. See you there Chuck

Pricing is $249 for the Monday track day.. Please download the form posted and fill it out. It has all of the information needed to get registered. Since some members didn't want to attend the races Saturday and Sunday we removed that from the pricing format. http://www.r1-forum.com/pics/westcoast.doc :D :thumbup

The pricing for Mondays ridding for novice riders is 125.00 + the 249.00 on Fastrack Riders page. Is this the correct amount you need from us if we are first time track riders? 2. Race tickets; are we on our own to purchase them from Cal Speedway? I was under the impression that there was going to be a package deal for forum members. 3. Is there going to be any special events scheduled or pit passes / garage passes that we can purchase or that we are allowed to attend? 4. Is there going to be any hospitality tents from manufactures or dealers that we will be allowed in? Thanks.

We had the $125 beginers fee removed from the fast track sign up form for our event. The download form does reflect it (it's not on it). 2. Race tickets; are we on our own to purchase them from Cal Speedway? I was under the impression that there was going to be a package deal for forum members. Originally the price quoted had race weekend passes along with our event but too many people requested to not attend the race weekend so we removed them. I might could get a slight discount for members attending both but I can't guarantee anything at this point in the game. 3. Is there going to be any special events scheduled or pit passes / garage passes that we can purchase or that we are allowed to attend? We have no control over the AMA weekend and the racers, teams etc will be on the track. Our events are Monday and listed below. McCoy Motorsports - http://www.tobefast.com Giveaways and much more. (Primary Sponsor) R1-Forum.Com : Organized Events and Giveaways R6-Forum.Com : Organized Events and Giveaways Organized events to be announced soon. California Speedway - http://www.californiaspeedway.com California Speedway will make available one free pass to the AMA weekend event for pre-entered riders. DynoJet Research, Inc. - http://www.dynojet.com DynoJet will have the official AMA mobile dyno available for tuning. All Dyno work will be free of charge for R1's and R6's that are equipped with a Power Commander and/or other DynoJet equipment. They will have two (2) staff in attendance. Ohlins - http://www.ohlins.com Ohlins will have their service truck and two (2) staff available for consultation free of charge. Schedule permitting a technical suspension seminar will be presented. Sport Tire Services (Dunlop Tires) - http://www.sporttire.com Sport Tire Services will have tires available for purchase for those who place there orders in advance of the event. They will have staff available for consultation and tire fitment of Dunlop tires only. Those who are interested in tires should contact Sport tire services @ 800-776-8473 or e-mail dennis@sporttire.com . They will have the correct sizes and compounds for the R1/R6 and the California Speedway track surface. Please contact them at least two (2) weeks in advance. Graves Motorsports - http://www.gravesport.com Graves will have sales staff available for consultation. Graves will have the entire Team Graves Yamaha crew available for consultation with regard to racing, and specifically set-up, bike preperation and riding tips. A commitment on which riders and what type of roll they will play is to be determined. (Primary Sponsor) Fast Track Riders - http://www.fastrackriders.com Fast Track Riders will be organizing the on track event. They are committed to overseeing the technical inspection, registration, corner workers, safety crew and scheduling of on track events. We will be discussing new rider and advanced rider classes. The classes should see some involvement from one or more of the team riders, this is not set as of yet. 4. Is there going to be any hospitality tents from manufactures or dealers that we will be allowed in? Thanks. California speedway limits food and beverages to themselves therefor we won't be bringing in any outside meals or drinks services. Monday is our day to have fun and hangout. The amount of privaleges being brought in Monday is going to be incredible. Setup and tuning by factory mechanics in invaluable... Look forward to seing you there...

Thanks bro, Just 1 more so I can be clear on Mondays ridding. Your answer: We had the $125 beginners fee removed from the fast track sign up form for our event. The download form does reflect it (it's not on it). So does that mean if I am a first time track ridder I still only pay the 249.00 and do not have to add the 125.00 extra fee? Thanks.

I used to wrench for a close friend that raced Chuck at Willow back in '97, and he was fast as hell back then, too! They told me that only 5 people had registered. Five freakin people, huh? Nice. Just want to say thanks to Shane and Chuck for attempting to put something awesome together for us West Coasters. I just find it hard to believe that I was only ONE of FIVE R1 Forum members that was interested in this enough to register. There has to be THOUSANDS of socal guys around. I don't get it. :dunno

But, I was only going to have to drive 100 miles to ride a TRACKDAY, which is what I like to do. Was just that much sweeter that it was sanctioned by the R1 Forum. I stopped riding the street because of tickets. The Gap isn't a trackday. Is law enforcement not going to be around when you guys are riding? Just sick of the hassle. Nice to be able to twist the throttle, and not worry about 5.0. Anyway, I'm done here. I can't make it to the Gap anyway because I'll be in Iraq. I REALLY was looking forward to one last fling before I go.

I really thought that I had to hurry and register before all the spaces were taken. WTF

I mean a Paypal account or just add something to their shopping cart and it would have worked. Maybe I was just too darn lazy, but if it was easier I would have jumped on board. Maybe others feel the same way? If I can't do it through the web then its just not worth my time personally. I will just stick with the WSMC race weekends for now:hellobye
