Only problems are... 1) If you look closely at my picture (below), the cut does not fit exactly to the size of the head light. (like this one does...) http://www.stickercity.com/images/gallery/r1.jpg 2) Air bubbles are a pain to get out.:boom

Overall... I am happy with the product! :thumbup It's way better than the mesh... ...and my R1 is looking stealthier, than all other "ravens" :finger

Looks nice... I have the blue tint on my blue 04 and I always have people asking me about it. I didn't notice a difference in the illumination other than they shine a little whiter now. My film wasn't an exact fit but it is hardly noticable. Just a small gap around the outside.

Do you have any pictures of your bike with the blue tint film on? Thanks

I think it looks AWESOME and was thinking of doing it to mine but I do about 70% of my riding at night so I really do not want to compromise illumination at all.

The Blue one is StickerCity's bike. (The black one is mine.) I believe the blue one has the 'dark' tint on. When they took that picture they had not released the lighter 20% 'light' flim yet.

Can't help but think that this "styling" item of tinting your headlight lens is a horrifically bad idea. Looks neat though. Good luck with it....

looks good, but the light output looks a little on the low side.

I never understood why anyone would want to reduce their headlight output. Sure it looks cool but why look cool over a lot of negative factors.

Ok how about the BIG two.. reduction of light at night to SEE and the reduction of light in the day for people to SEE you. I will take a little more safe then "enhancing" the look of my bike. Glad you're happy with it...

Glad you're happy with it... cool, thanks for the concern, in my personal experience with it, no drastic reduction of light, at night, as i can see very well with the low and or/high beams, and in the day time, i dont rely on my headlight for other people to see me, i rely on being aware of my surroundings and driving offensively and not defensively to avoid as much trouble as possible... very happy with it and have had it on my bike since 50 miles (now 10000 miles)

What about just getting the lenses tinted? Prob look alot cleaner then using stickers.

What about just getting the lenses tinted? Prob look alot cleaner then using stickers. this is more like a tint than sticker, but when compared side by side, i thought the sticker city one was more like a clear bra, seemed like it would hold up better to bugs, rocks, etc., that and for me, since i went down there, they gave the warantee with it

What I meant about getting tinted is splitting the lenses, then having the inside of the smoked chemically.

Overall... Tint looks good, I thought they came pre-cut. How much of a decrease in night time vision have you lost with the tint. I like the way it looks but haven't done it for that reason. I can't see as well at night to begin with:crash Doh, Just realized that this is an old thread, lot of this going around lately.
