can anyone tell me what occurred to the r1 engine which raised the hp from 152 in o2 to 180 in o5? if it is just the fuel injection throttle assembly, can i do something to my o2 setup to match the 05 fi configuration? thanks

Read the engine specs on each. That should tell you.

the only things that are outlined are true ram air in o5 and larger throttle assemblies; from 40 to 43 i think; i thought perhaps someone on the forums had some personal knowledge; the dealer personnel dont seem to know; peculiar but true.

shorter stroke,higher revs, larger diameter primaries and throttle bodies yada yada yada
