Lane splitting proposed for Texas

For you Texas boys (and girls) A Texas legislator has proposed making lane splitting legal in Texas. Any Texas rider supporting this should contact their legislator. repost :dunno

Yeah, I just ran across this subject at the FZ1 forum. The way I read it it's already been passed, and will go into effect in Sept when the new laws always do, but I don't know for sure.

It looked like it was already set for Sept 1st in that link. Then again maybe it is just wording to be "approved" Would be cool but 5 mph faster doesn't really make that big a difference. Not sure if 5 mph faster is worth the risk of some a hole swerving into the lane because he's pissed off. Would be nice to have the option though.
