i just got a catalog from yamaha in the mail. I saw they haave a fuel pressure regulator for an 05 that holds 1.5 lbs more pressure.. can anyone tell me about this and why it only fits the 05 and not the o4.. i am more curious about performance.. seems like the pcIII makes it richer, why would you need more fuel pressure?

Must be a race kit part...to go with a more powerfull fuel pump along with other things.

ya thats sounds about right i saw it too and figured it had to be for race bikes primarily

maybe its to manuallt tune the fuel instead of electronically through a computer. at the drag strips we had to retune every track, due to different altitudes and air pressure...
