I met Joe Rocket! He gave me a pretty nice textile, armored riding jacket and signed it. He was taking pictures of his models... One of my boys and I pulled up and he took some pics of his models on Hunter's 1000RR. (custom paint) It was pretty cool. It's the one that I have on in the pics. The pics of the models arent on there yet, they should be in like a week, ill post it when the rest of the pics are on there.
On Friday night at like 130am my buds say, 'Let's ride to Miami.' Horrible Idea!! It was pretty chilly at night.... down to like 49, at least a 5 hr ride, had to be back to check out of the hotel Sunday morning. South beach was awesome, don't get me wrong, but like 11 hrs of riding round trip and we stayed for like 2 hrs OMG. On top of that, saturday was the superbike race :(
Saw all kinds of sweet bikes, plenty of hot guys;) (and ladies, but the odds were in my favor :D), and some nice riding!
Already trying to start planning for next year! Anyways, just wanted to share with you all!!

SuzukiGirl 04-14-2005, 12:36 PM I probably had about $800 wrapped up in the whole trip. We also ate out 3 times a day LOL. A little over $100 in gas, but it was split with 3 people. About $200 for the hotel (with 5 people chipping in). Our hotel was also in Orlando... to stay in daytona, hotels are expensive as hell. You can also camp inside of the track in daytona. I believe it was $175 for a week. Free access to all of the events held there (supercross, superbike, etc. there are races like everyday.... vintage races, etc.) I think that's what i will do next year.
We had a couple of rainy days while we were there. One day, we just went to the pacman palace and played arcade games all day. It was pretty cold most nights.... we made a couple of late night trips across the state.... couldn't stand it to make it where we were going, so we rented hotel rooms a couple of nights LOL (4-5 hr trips, starting at like 1-2am.... brrrrr)
It was definately a good time!!
mezmorized03 04-14-2005, 01:39 PM sweet sounds like a blast, i still want to come your way to and see the indy time trials some year never been there and thats not to far from me either. i assume you have gone to the badlands, in attica, on your dirt bike, thats a pretty fun place to ride to, but i hear the indy trials are better than the actual race.

same thing here by me, so zukigirl when are you and some of your buds coming riding my way over towards chi town?? i am for sure gonna try to get over by indy to ride this year i have already heard too much about some sweet curvy roads over that way!! so i am definitely gonna make it over there this year , hopefully you could meet up with me and the other guys that have told me about these roads and we could all do some riding, love to meet some people from this site and ride, there arent any r1's around here where i am but mine
