Where are you guys? I just moved a couple of months ago from So Cal & have already found a few place that host/ have meets (usually Thurs.) for Harleys & cruisers. I'm always seening sportbikes on the road, but never at the meets. What's up with that!?
Who would be interested in meeting up somewhere (Palm beach, Boca, etc..) and meeting your fellow sport riders? We could exchange ideas, etc. and then go for a nice ride through town... King of the roads!
Let me know & I can suggest a couple of places that have large parking lots, good food, & cheap brews.

Tonight everyone who owns a sport bike meets at La Carreta on Bird road (sw 40th st.) in Miami. Tomorrow night everyone meets at Fuddruckers in Fort Lauderdale. These are the best places to meet other riders. These are weekly events.

I also had a friend with a Ninja ZX7R. then we went down to the grove and afterwards we went to South beach. but nothing was going on that night so around midnight everyone left.Well if u people are going somewhere to chill with the bikes let me know.

200mph 02-22-2002, 12:06 AM Tonight was awesome. i got to BirdRD. Around 8pm i stayed there till 10:30pm then me and some friends left to The grove, a lot of bikes went there, then after we went to South Beach, @ South Beach was cool then we decided to go back to the grove, so i left and i m,ade a yellow light but my friends stayed behind, then after the first bridge at South beach as i was coming down thinking it was my friends around 15 riders passed me LOL , everyone was cruising at pretty good speeds, some were doing wheelies, i persoinally had sat on my tank lol then i got it up to 130 to chase those bikes, i cought up to them on I-95 but they took the grove exit , and i just went home. It was a great night, too many bikers though, we need more Sport Bikes out there.
Asphaltburner 02-23-2002, 06:46 PM I'm glad to see an "R1-Forum". I'm very interested in forming a pleasure R1 southeast FL club or a similar "institution" with the following objective:
1. Rent a race track for a day or two.
2. Meet with others and go for a nice ride.
3. Exchange tips, tricks, parts + other bike related stuff.
Who ever is interested, please submit your comments !!!
By the way, renting MOROSO for a day with 10 or more drivers, would be awesome. :cool:
