Is there ANY way we can keep this forum going? Will the Colorado members EVER use this forum as a way of communication?! The weather is supposed to be getting better and better. Are any of you people members of the Colorado Sportbike Club? I just want to ride!!!:rant :cryin :yesnod :riding

:hellobye Myself and two other 04 R1 riders will be riding on Saturday, a few others might join us for the ride but there will be at least three riding from Colorado Springs to Denver. You can join us somewhere downtown Denver. We will start the ride around 1100. My last month of riding here in Colorado, moving to South Carolina next month.

We will meet up at Sonic, south Academy in Colorado Springs Saturday at 1030 and depart at 1115. Course of action 1(most likely route): up 83 to Castle Rock, I-25 to Downtown Denver. We will stop and rest off of Specker, vicinity of Laramie. (83 is clear no sand) Course of action 2(my choice): Go through Deckers to Downtown Denver area. Most don't want to do it due to sand on roads. Course of action 3 (least likely to happen): Straight up I-25 (last time we did this we spent the entire day in jail, trying to get a buddy out on bail.) It looks like there will be four of us at least, the others are not making any commitments. I anticipate atleast two to three more joining unless they are to hung over to ride.

could you tell me how to get to the sonic? i'm coming down on I25 south and aren't familiar with the springs

well i just got back from the springs, i guess i miss you guys. By the time i found the sonic on academy past fountain, no one was around. if you set something up again, give me a shout chris

Wow! This is the most action I've seen on this thread in forever. The crazy Viking fan husband of mine and I live in Castle Rock. Be carefull in town if you ride through- there is a lot of sand and gravel. Anyone ever ride during the week? I end up riding by myself when our kid is in school...... (not that it still isn't fun)

i started riding during the week last week, it was kinda strange to start my bike on a thursday morning, but it was a nice ride up to boulder, but with the weather like it is, i probably won't ride until at least saturday

Two of the F#$k#rs that said they were coming never showed up (Too hung over). Got saved by a car that flashed his lights warning of a speed trap. The ride was good but really windy. Been riding the new Gixxer this week and it's freakin awesome. Just need to fine tune the suspension and throttle cable needs adjustment, but it's not my bike. Overall a superior stock bike, but still love my R1. If I had the money to spare I would buy the Gixxer. I will be riding on Saturday, to test a new map. Ten more days in the Rocky Mountains until my move down south. :rock

I ought to be down for whenever (Got work until about 3 on Saturday). I thought I had to go to a wedding on Friday night but I read the invitation wrong and the wedding's not untill June!:lol:finger I'm sure we'll figure something out...:dunno

Any one going to fountain this year...I have a large group riding down saturday morning and we watch the races and camp and party on site all night. Will have a few trucks going to pack coolers and tents and food....Of course beer. PM me for details
