Attention men and women...

...of Squadron! The PPIR AMA race is coming up in less than three weeks! A few of us are already going to ride down there together, namely R1blue01, Silver Drag'n, my lovely g/f, myself, and whoever else we can drum up for support! :riding I was at Performance Cycle this afternoon and they have full race/paddock passes for $35 bucks! I would like to get on the wagon here and get some so that full price doesn't have to be paid. Last year I fell asleep and ended up reaching deep into the pocket book. :( So what's the deal kids??

I am down but I generally like to buy the "insiders view" section. That is the one little section of bleachers on the infield...right in front of the esses. It's the best place I gan get photos from... Insiders View tickets are usually about $65. Rinn where you at???? You down for buying insiders view and taking photos??? Damn dood those are some great pics! That insiders view section looked cool but we were able to stand by the gate on the far side of those bleachers and get a pretty damn good view of the race. My crappy camera didn't fair too well and the fence was in the way as well. I am assuming that the "insiders view" gets you paddock access as well?

i'm in, are the passes gonna be a group buy or should we just get to performance as soon as possible? chris

Basically for $20 more or so you get to sit in the infield bleachers. You can pretty much see all the same stuff while standing behind the fence but one of my sole reasons for going is being able to take pics and like you stated...I can't take them behind the fence.:no:dunno I probably ought to go buy some tickets pretty soon... And FYI for anyone that's interested I think I'll be down at PPIR this weekend for an open track day of the 4 wheel type.......I'd like to ride down on Saturday and get a few hundred photos...

I think KS is going to be it then. Performance Cycles only had the race+paddock pass for $35. That's a hell of a deal. But if we want to do the infield seating as well we will have to go KS. I wish we could to a group buy. That would be nice but it would never happen. Especially this late in the game. What say you all?

Okay...I'm trying to get my plans together. I'd like to buy tickets within the next few days. As you can imagine...the infield bleachers are limited seating.

I agree...that's why I started this thread. To see what's going on and get tix as soon as I can. Sounds like a lot of us are going infield seating. Since we're definitely going with R1Blue01 and Silver Drag'n (hopefully some of you other :moto:s as well :lol :finger) I would like to pin down what we're doing before we buy.

yeah hell.....if I'm not able to get any of my other friends to go (cheap bastards) and you guys are planning on getting the insiders view seats too...I may just go buy a ticket and rest easy...

Okay Colorado Peeps, here's the deal. If you buy the tix at King Soopers for the insider view pass ( bleacher seating inside and a pit pass) they are $60 + a $5 service charge = $65 same as the race day gate price. But as of this morning at 10:30 am (5/9) there were only about 350 tickets of that kind left for Sunday's race. We need to get on it. I am trying to make sure we have a sitter so we can ride, but I want to get the tickets by tomorrow am by the latest, so we don't miss out. And fyi, the helmet check sounds like a bad idea as there are no lockers or anything.

:iamwithst I will buy my tickets with in a day or two. As for weather or not I will end up riding or driving dow...Who knows...one way or another I'll be there! :thumbup

Alright, for the record, we do have a sitter. We are set. I don't know about the weather as of yet. We should find a neutral meeting spot for those of us who are riding together.
