Score 10 out of 10 Sturdy. Clean Cut. Cheap price ($30 on ebay). Meets or exceeds all other fender eliminators I have seen for an 04/05.

Call me old fashion or different, i like improving my r1 but like keeping it as original as possible,(*its perfect the way it is*) Removing the rear fender reminds me of a babe on her knees with its arse up in the air..

Different strokes for different folks.. I personally think the stock mud flap is hideous.. :ugh

Call ME old fashioned but I like the look of a babe on her knees and her a$$ up in the air. Seriously, I personally don't like the mud flap on the rear. When I brought my ride home, I had it, ohhhhh, probably for the better part of five minutes in the garage when I hacked that thing off with a hacksaw. My $0.02 - keep the change.

Big plastic mud guards (as we call fenders in the UK) belong on vehicles that are likely to throw up mud, like errrr......a tractor! The R1 is a race bike....remove the fender, put it in a box and never speak of it again.

I will try and put some pictures of my fender eliminator as soon as I get back home (away working at the moment, stuck on an oil-rig!). I've got an R&G mounting bracket on mine but I've seen nicer ones on the market. The smartest one i've seen sort of looks like an up-side-down shark's fin, obviously with the base of the fin on the undertray and the point coming out to the license plate. If anyone knows where they can get this style from then let me know. There are also loads on ebay.

That thing looks pretty good. I have the graves fender eliminator. Not bad, but the R&R has a sleeker look.

I'm selling mine with a LED plate light installed for $25 if anyone is interested. I will sell the bracket w/o the LED for $10. Recently went to integrated tail light. Check out my M4 exhaust post to see pics with the LED installed. :hellobye

I had some POS one that cost $100.00 and broke....twice!!!! I fixed it by redrilling the holes closer to the mount and it broke again. They said if I bring it all back in they would give me my money back :jump So I just zip-tied my plate to my passenger pegs. Looks good, doesnt rub on tire or tire guard, and it is visable from behind.
