Not much to say about a seat cowl but I really think the genuine yamaha seat cowl really makes the tail end of the 04/05 look a lot more aggressive. Here are a couple pics: http://www.r1-forum.com/gallery/data/506/44307DSC00019.JPG http://www.r1-forum.com/gallery/data/2/44307DSC00005.JPG http://www.r1-forum.com/gallery/data/2/44307DSC00039.JPG

Now you just need to take off the passenger pegs to really give it a clean look: http://www.sabofamily.com/sitebuilder/images/100_1517_3_-760x602.jpg

It looks awesome, man. I just wish the seat cowl wasn't so damn expensive!

I bought this one from a forum member for $125 shipped. Seat cowls are pricey in general but especially at $180 for a new one from yamaha.

It's the first thing I bought for my blue 1. It should come with the bike as standard equipment, though.

I've been meaning to ask this, but I saw a picture here of a crowl that had no padding, this crowl looks way better than the Yamaha one (04/05). I lost the information of were to order it. The only thing I remeber was that it was a guy from Brazil or somewhere in South America that makes them. :dunno I lost the info since I reinstalled windows on my PC, but if any of you peeps know what I'm talking about can you post the 411. Thanks
