Im selling a blank frame and swingarm from an 02 or 03 R1. Blank as in blank from Yamaha, i dont have the paperwork for it because i bought the bike as a compleate race bike but i did the frame swap thing to frame and title so the bike can be on the road, so now a ihave a blank frame and swingarm up for grabs. Both the frame and swingarm are compleatly straight and are in good shape. It comes with all of the hardware to connect the swingarm minus the dogbone and shock. Price for everything is $600 shipped. There is no subframe, just bolt up your own or buy one. Pictures will be sent on request, just drop me a pm with your email.

I got a bike at an auction, it was wrecked, by the looks frame isnt bent, after I started putting it together, its looking like frame is bent.
Anyway to work it out???

if your title is a salvage, you can use the bill of sale for the new frame and swap everything on the new frame and bring it to your local inspection station for salvage inspection. They can then transfer the VIN # from the bent frame to the new one and issue you a good title, that is as long as the rest of the bike looks OK and is complete. If you have a good title on the bike that you won on the auction, i believe that a dealer can transfer the vin from the old frame to the new one but they will have to destroy the old frame, which probably wouldnt mater to you bc it is bent. Or you could just register the bike you have, if title is clean, and just use the blank frame to ride on bc it is straight and just keep the bent frame so you wouldnt get busted for cops thinkin that your bike is stolen!! There are a few ways to do it depending on your title statis. PM me if you have more q's
