R1Blue01 05-18-2005, 07:51 AM Today, I finally rode to work. The first time in over a year. I spent so much time getting this bike ready to go. It runs like shit off of idle, but it runs after I get it going. After all the time (and money) to get this bike back to life after sitting for three years. Mostly the nasty fuel issues. The poor bike has been neglected. That will no longer be the case.
It was long overdue, plus my wife won't let me ride her bike. :2bitchsla
2000750 05-18-2005, 07:57 AM Man......I rode the Warrior in to work this morning and it was Beautiful! I didn't want to stop and go to work :no

I rode all week so far and probably won't stop since the good weather is here...the mornings are what make it difficult to ride during the colder times. :(
R1Blue01 05-18-2005, 08:16 AM I'm going to keep riding as well. I will need to get the bike over to TK and have them do some tweaking on the carbs. But it's running and I'm riding. That's all that counts.
Wolf-R1 05-18-2005, 08:19 AM :thumbup True, true...keep it up man!

Got my swing-arm sliders, bar ends, and clutch slider today along with my lifts... Going to tighten my chain because 2 - 2.5 in of slack is bad right:confused:
So tighten that beatch up and then go test her out... oh yeah.
Just have to wait till my Mom leaves my house... She would be pissed if she new I bought a new bike and I don't want to her to find out just before she leaves on vacation. that wouldn't make me a very nice son now would it.. :no .
R1Blue01 05-19-2005, 07:31 AM That's nice of you to be a nice son.
The bike is running good. I'm ready for this weekend. The carbs atre all cleaned out and runs nice.

She hates that I used to have a '96 900RR or any crotch rocket as a matter of fact, if she new I dropped 10g on a new bike she would be so mad.. My Dad would to because he just hates my taste in bikes, he wants me to have an Enduro or Cruiser but I like my rockets.... :thumbup

I don't like them people look weird when they ride them... but I am stickin with my scooter and if I ever do change it will probalby be a custom cruiser when all the 45+ idiots who watch too much Discovery Channel are done killing themselves during their mid-life crisis...
eduardobibm 05-19-2005, 04:14 PM Are they gay if it's not the only bike you have?

I've been commuting on this thing instead of the R1 for the past two weeks and I have to say, it's an awesome city bike. Blasting through traffic is super easy because you can jump curbs and ride on the sidewalk when nessessary..:finger
