R1LOON 05-27-2005, 03:50 PM WOW!!! They look fantastic.
Just a question though, are the angels eyes a universal kit that you buy and they fit on anythin or do you have to buy a specific kit for bike or car, etc?
Also what kind of money do they go for?

HIJACKED:finger
05RayvenR1 05-27-2005, 04:59 PM Looks sweet man! :thumbup How long did the install take you to do? Difficulty level from 1 - 10??
motojustin4 05-27-2005, 05:11 PM What brand you use? how long take to install? :dunno :)
I ordered the Angel eyes from www.tobefast.com they are 99.00 and are made for 03-05 R6's and 04-05 R1's for the moment.
The install took me about an hour on the headlamps of heating them pulling them apart installing and everything. what took me most of the time was disassembling my bike and putting it back together then wiriing them into a switch.. I should have just hard wired them to my running lights because the switch is a pain in the ass..
Install would probably be a 6-7 its not easy but its not something someone cant do as long as they know some about electrical and breaking their bike down..
R1Blue01 05-27-2005, 05:45 PM Those look pretty :boobies
Do they make them for my 72 Yamaha YZF 60???

Thanks I like them a lot just read a bad review on that bimmin website but I have ridden on mine and hit every bump i could to test them, and aggravate my balls i guess, and nothing bad..
We will see what happens in the future but I am happy with them and they have a cleaner glow the the bimmin ones in my opinion.

That would be great if you could hook me up with some, it would certainly make me stand out from the rest.
What kind of money would they be?

I just looked at the review.... ...He got a bad angel eye:( ...It happens. I told him that I would replace them...but he didn't want that...:D ...He just wanted to tell everyone that Clegg's is shitty and he is so great:eek:
The other thing is that the R6 has no chance of melting with or without the highbeam on. The R1 highbeam has a good chance of melting if you run your highbeams alot, because the the angel eye is close to the bulb...unlike the lowbeam which is in the projector housing.
The otherthing is that he didn't install them right....He has it to where the led's are to be seen, they should be placed at the very top...That way you can't see them. When there mounted right all you see is the bright light coming from the slots in the angel eye ring.
Thanks, Rinn
I think they look alot better also...even with them not mounted right.
For the RECORD I do stand behind my product.
Thanks,
Steve

I'm not sure what the price will be...not sure when they will be on the market...I still have alot of testing to do.
If and when they do go on the market you will have to buy them from www.tobefast.com

It was annoying reading that article he found every little thing to complain about... "oh well I thought it was redicoulus that we had to buy so much stuff, well I think its redicoulus that you have to send your headlight to him for a week:mad:, and he should already have everything since he makes and installs them too.
I wanted to email him and tell him he was full of shit and should invest in a tripod next time he decides to take pictures and do a "review" if you can call it that, reviews are done by an impartial person, and it was driving me nuts looking at out of focus pictures.
His are interesting Angel Eyes but the light bleeds out so it looks shitty in my opinion, don't trade asthetics for brightness; its a stupid decision on his part.
Good Product I am very happy :thumbup
Laterz,
Ryan
