sprocket questionDC-R1 06-06-2005, 10:37 AM Have just put a renthal 45 tooth sprocket on my 01 R1 43 teeth is standard. Haven't had a chance to ride it yet but wondered if any guys have done the same and what effect it will have on my bike especially on wheelies any idea about loss of top end ie how much.

if you just went +2 it's not going to effect your top end, it it does you hardly will be able to tell. If you go -1 that is like going +3 in the rear. You will get a LITTLE bit more low end torque but not much. IMO you should go -1 also if you want more low end power. That will not effect your top end much. You will stil be going 160+ | |
