Does anyone have any input on the Gilles Rear Sets? I've been looking at them because they come in black, they look really cool, and they seam to be very adjustable.

Thanks,

They are GREAT!! I love them. I think most members here seem to like the Gilles and the Satos.

I like the Gilles because 1. They look amazing 2. You don't lose anything IE: Brake light switch. Also they keep the shift linkage bar going through the frame even for MotoGP style shifting.

I have them on my '03 and love them. Very solid and good feel. Very smooth in the levers.

Loctite everything on them though and check them often!

the only part that i do not like is the heel guard, and the fact it only comes with one.
however i run without either currently

I second that, great rearsets but loctite all the bolts as I lost the one on the back brack and didn't realise until I went to use it in traffic:scared

I bought some since I have posted this thread and installed them just last week. I haven't riden with them yet though. Judging by the responses I think I may go back and loctite everything.

Thanks everyone for your advise!

Love them but they do take time to get just right.
