i just recently bought a set of mirror (pig spotter) from stmachine.com :boom for my o4 R1. i would not recommend anyone buying it from them... piece of crap for $100 if you asked me.
1) it's useless, very limited viewing (mostly to the side, you can barely see anyone in back of you... so how are you suppose to spot a pig?)
2) the quality isn't the greatest for $100... they could've made it better
- mirror had runs in it
- half ass paint job
3) the hardware to mount the mirrors was incomplete
- screws/fastners were not bagged (just tossed into the box, mirror was just wrapped with a sheet of paper)
4) it's a universal mirror (wasn't made specifically for the bike you wanted. when i asked for an R1 mirror i expect it to fit perfectly, the base is flat and doesn't go with the contour of the bike)
- poor fit
5) i paid $10 for UPS shipping to hawaii
- and i get UPS ground shipping from florida (took almost 2 weeks, when they said it would be here in several days)
- if you asked me for that price it should've been air flown (weighed less than a pound)
AGAIN I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE BUYING SUCH A POOR QUALITY MIRROR FROM THEM.
