Fawwwwkkk!!!

So I was planning on leaving at 3pm today so that I can go to SCR today. Naturally a Qwest tech shows up at 2pm to install two T1 lines...which usually takes them a couple of hours because of the way our damn building is set up. So...all the preparation that I've already done to get to the track is wasted and this just adds to the way the last 4 weeks have gone at work. :mad: :mad: :rant Thanks for hearing my BS. :(

:( :( :( Sorry that sucks when stupid install guys show up and ruin your day.. We will be there between 8am and 8pm.. make sure you are there or you have to schedule again and that will be 3 months down the road.. grrrrrrrrrrrr. Maybe we can get a ride this weekend retrace our last one and take some cool pics..

When are you going to be at SCR? Are you going this weekend at all? Rinn....... if anybody is out riding at SCR I'd be down for riding out there and taking a few hundred photos!

Well bike nights are Thursday nights and they are almost never cancelled or taken over by anyone else. I'd love to go this weekend but I doubt it will happen. I'd be up for a ride this weekend if the woman went for it. Realistically she'd be more up for coming to the track with me to watch. Problem with SCR during the days is that cars show up too. :(

Oh yeah...it's just now 5pm and the dude is still here. :mad:

Yeah.... I keep thinking it's friday too. If you were still going out I'd say I'd meet you out there but I don't have my camera with me. :dunno

:lol Yeah...of course I had to finally get out of there close to 6pm. then I picked up food for dinner, came home and chowed down. On the lighter side of things, the g/f thinks that going to SCR on Sunday is a great idea. So...looks like we'll be there. Unfortunately I have to work in the middle of the day Saturday so that's out. :(

I have yet to get to Pueblo...I hear that straight is awesome but some parts of the track suck balls.

Wolf.... What exactly is going on on sunday? Is it just an open track day or an MRA event or what? I might ride out and try and take some pics if everything works. :thumbup

The MRA races at CDR this weekend. The straight at Pueblo is awesome. Scary to brake from 175(indicated). The only real trouble spot is coming back on to the straight from around the tower. It is the drag strip and has a number of metal plates layed in it that make traction a trick at times. Plus all the crap the drag cars throw up :machinegu Still I have a lot more fun there than at second creek. AT least on the One :yesnod

Open track time at SCR on Sunday. If the MRA is racing at CDR Sunday I imagine there won't be a ton of bikes at SCR that day...I'll probably have to deal wit the cars. If I get there early enough there will be less traffic. I have to scrub off new race tires as well so my first few laps will be pretty slow. Not that I'm fast anyways. :lol :lol I've heard that Pueblo is a blast and that it's better than SCR. It's just so damn far away. Would have to do a whole track day down there just to make it worth it. I'll probably start doing days at Pueblo next year when SCR is closed for good. :(

most of the vendors thast I see just need access to the equipment, they are pretty much autonomous, isn't there anyone who can watch them while you go? prolly too late now anyways

Well I don't really have to baby sit them but I do have to wait until they are done to leave. He left at 6pm last night and I wouldn't have been able to get home, hook up, and trailer the bike out to the track and have a decent amount of time.

Well it looks like I won't be going today either. :( My apprehension about cars being there on the track has gotten the best of me and I'm bowing out. I'm going to definitely shoot for this coming Thursday.

Back on my R1 again I decided to take a little jont down Deer Creek Canyon for some nice twisties and scenery. If I'm slow without the cars on the track...I'm even slower with them on the track. They just make me nervous. I am going to hope and pray that I'll be able to make it this coming Thursday.
